College Football Team wins Seaboard Conference Championship with 49-0 win

The Valley Forge Military College Trojans wrapped up the 2017 season with a dominant performance against conference opponent Jersey Coast Jaguars. Before today's contest Valley Forge honored it's seniors with an on field ceremony.

The Trojans offense started the scoring on the very first play from scrimmage when QB Austin Scott hooked up with WR Aamir Brown on a 76 yard touchdown strike. The Trojan Defense continued it's stifling ways forcing a three and out for the Jags. The scoring continued when Punt Returner Michael Freeman returned a Jaguar punt 75 yards for a Trojan touchdown.  On Valley Forge's next possession RB Tayvon Ruley dashed to the right for a 40 yard touchdown run increasing it's lead over the Jags. Grant Horne's PAT attempt clanked off the up right making the score 20-0. On the Jaguars next possession Sadique Moore and Fulani Freeman sacked the Jags quarterback forcing another 3 and out. Austin Scott, than threw a 26 yard touchdown pass to WR Ed Dennis. The defense than forced another punt giving the ball back to the Trojans. Kadir Chisholm than hauled a 38 yard strike from Scott down the Trojan sideline. Chisholm capped off the drive with a 24 yard TD catch in the back of the end zone increasing the Trojans lead to 36-0 in the second quarter. Rashad Muhammad added to the scoring with an outside run. Tayvon Ruley capped off the day running up the middle for an 85 yard touchdown score. 

The stingy Trojan defense held the Jaguars to a total of 13 yards of offense on the day which included 19 yards rushing and a negative 6 yards passing. Sadique Moore finished out his Valley Forge career with another dominant performance  including 4 tackles 1.5 tackles for loss and a sack. Fulani Freeman lead the way totaling 12 tackles 4 tackles for a loss and 2.5 sacks. Linebackers Greg Miller and Drake Roach each contributed with 5 tackles. 

Valley Forge's 49-0 convincing win wrapped up the season in which the Trojans went undefeated in the Seaboard Conference and secured it's forth straight Conference Title.
