College Football Team defeats Stevens Tech 41-13

The Valley Forge Trojans traveled to Lancaster Pa. to take on the Bulldogs of Stevens Tech for their second Seaboard Conference game of the year.

QB Austin Scott led the way for the Trojan Offense completing 21 of his 26 passes for 361 yards and 4 touchdowns.

Scott, completed passes to six different receivers. Kadir Chisholm, had three receptions for 111 yards and 1 touchdown including a 55 yard pass from Scott. Aamir Brown, contributed with four receptions for 105 yards which include an 81 yard touchdown strike from Scott. Ed Dennis continued his scoring streak with two more touchdowns receptions.

Runningback Tayvon Ruley led the ground attack rushing the ball 19 times for 118 yards and 1 touchdown. 

The Trojan Defense continued it's dominant ways holding the Bulldogs to 169 yards of total offense. The defense recorded 8 sacks on the day which was again led by the dominant play of Sadiques Moore, who contributed with eight tackles, four tackles for loss, 1 forced fumble and 4 sacks. Linebacker KJ Lawrence led the way with 9 tackles while LB Greg Miller left his mark with 5 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks. The teams inspirational leader Fulani Freeman registered 3 tackles and had an interception return for a touchdown. 

Grant Horne, controlled the kicking game making 5 PAT attempts.

DE Sadique Moore was the Defensive Player of the Week 

K Grant Horne was the Special Teams Player of the Week 

OL Dontae Leaf and DB Davougnte Brown were the Scout Players of the Week 

The Trojans return home for their final game of the season as they will host the Jersey Coast Jaguars at O'Hara Field at 1:00 PM. The Trojans will honor their seniors before the game.
